Restaurants and restaurant groups

The kitchen, the dining room, purchasing and stores, delivery — each writing in its own group, in its own words.

Intelligence supports the decision. People make it.

An illustrative week — not a client's story. What FDI notices in it is one of the pack's real checks.

Without FDI

  1. Monday: the dining room promises guests grilled sea bass for the new branch's opening menu.
  2. Tuesday: purchasing stops buying sea bass — too expensive this week. It says so in its own group.
  3. Opening day: the kitchen finds out at the pass.

With FDI

  1. Tuesday morning, the owner's brief carries one line: the menu promises a dish whose ingredient purchasing has stopped buying — both messages shown, with where each came from.
  2. The owner sends the kitchen one request, with a date. It comes back answered, with a reason: grilled mullet instead.
  3. The opening menu changes before a guest is told anything.

Cameras that describe places, never people.

Cameras, if you want them: one zone per camera, one closed question — for example the bin area: closed and clear, or overflowing?

  • Places, never peopleAn exit blocked, a guard rail missing, a bin area overflowing. People are only ever counted, anonymously, in a zone.
  • No face recognitionFace recognition, naming a person and following someone from camera to camera are refused before anything runs. In every saved picture, heads are pixelated.
